In celebration of Global Youth Service Day 2009, the Brooklyn, New York (LMGHS) Student Chapter of People to People International will be participating in a project to benefit the global community. The chapter will sponsor a bake sale to raise money for the Save Darfur organization and all proceeds will be directly donated to support the Darfur region. Additionally, the chapter plans to hang posters and sponsor awareness raising activities regarding the current situation in Darfur. The bake sale will take place on April 28 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1830 Shore Boulevard in Brooklyn, New York.
