Youth Changing the World Toolkit (ages 13+)

The Youth Changing the World Toolkit is a service and learning framework that guides youth through the process of project development. This framework is designed for children of all ages and guides youth to deeper understanding of problems of local, national, or global importance and enables them to utilize their skills and passions to address their root causes.

Youth will be able to take their projects from ideas to action by following the clear guidance through the various stages of project development (investigation, preparation, planning, and action, and reflection and celebration).

Kids in Action Guide (ages 5-12)

The Kids in Action Guide is a service and learning framework modeled after the Youth Changing the World toolkit. This resource, written by kids, for kids, helps elementary-age children imagine and plan a service project.

Kids in Action Training

This free video training walks through the Kids in Action Guide and is created by kids, for kids to help elementary-age children image and plan a service project.

Semester of Service Toolkit (educators)

Written by former educators and service-learning experts, the Semester of Service Toolkit guides educators through a service-learning process designed to engage students to think critically about issues, generate creative solutions, and to collaborate and communicate across diverse audiences.
